Today is November 4th.  This is the one day that you have the opportunity to shake the pillars of Heaven, by casting your vote. Now, I don't care who you vote for, I only ask that you go out and vote. Regardless of who you support, you must admit that our government has grown far to complacent to do whatever the lobbyists and special interests want them to, at our expense.  By us mobilizing and voting in great numbers (and throwing any number of the bums out of office), we make  statement to those in power. As you know, George Carlin passed away this weekend.  I'd like to think it was a life well-lived, and that he left the world some small amount better then he found it. He took seven simple words, and challenged a repressive culture at the highest levels of power.  His comedic acts always carried a touch of irony, an exasperation at the lunacy of the world around us.
